A striking handcrafted sterling silver Thunderbird pendant featuring a natural Fox turquoise cabochon set at the center.
The Thunderbird is beautifully detailed with layered and stamped sterling silver work throughout the wings, tail feathers, head, and body. Oxidized recesses bring out the geometric feather patterns, arrows, stars, and other Southwestern-inspired accents, giving the piece wonderful depth and character.
At the center sits a pear-shaped Fox turquoise cabochon with a fresh blue-green tone and warm earthy matrix. The stone is framed with a twisted-rope border and raised sterling setting that helps it stand out against the detailed silverwork.
A large decorative stamped bail completes the pendant and gives it a substantial, finished look.
The piece has a solid sterling silver back and is stamped STERLING & Handmade.
